The 4 days of North Vietnam will give you a chance to discover the most highlighted places in the north of Vietnam, etc: Hanoi ( Vietnam's Capital), Tam Coc, Halong Bay ( Unesco World Heritage Centre ). We will discover the bustling Hanoi, its gastronomy, history. Enjoy the rural scenery of Ninh Binh and a boat trip to explore Tam Coc - "Halong Bay on land". Following a scenic route through the Red River Delta, the World Heritage Site of Halong Bay enchants your eyes by its majestic landscape as well as many beautiful caves.

ITINERARY

The Best of Northern Vietnam

4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS

On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, we start to visit the Temple of Literature (or you might choose the Ethnology museum..), then move to the West Lake and pay a visit to the oldest pagoda Tran Quoc. Continue drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter (Old Quarter Hanoi), visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge and Ma May ancient house. A cyclo ride tour around the Old Quarter to experience the exciting local daily life of Hanoians. Tour ends after a cup of coffee or tea at an authentic Hanoi corner cafe where you can have talks with local people, exchange cultural way of life.

Overnight in Hanoi. 

In the morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel, then depart to Ninh Binh for the trip. Short break-time on the way for picturesque view of rural in Vietnam countryside with fertilizer green fields, local famer, water buffalo...

11:10 am: Arrive Mua Caves which is constructed following the model of "miniature of Great Wall" in China with nearly 500 steps up to mountain peak. You will spend about one hour to do trekking up to top of mountain for overview the panoramic landscape of Tam Coc valley, rice fields, and Ninh Binh city.

12:30: Get on the bus heading to Tam Coc. Enjoy the delicious Lunch at local restaurant.

13:30: Starting the rowing boat trip to explore the beauty of Tam Coc, known as "Halong Bay on Land". In one hour and half on the boat, you are visiting the Ngo Dong River with three water tunnels, viewing the rice along both side of river, taking photo of local farmer who is working and catching river food. Moving between the green high mountains, you feel as living in the quiet and far further from the modern recent live.

After rowing boat trip, spend about half an hour to biking to local village, close up to the local villager in the countryside, visiting the embroidery shop where the product is made by hand.

16:00: Get back the bus for way back to Hanoi city.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Shuttle bus will pick up at your hotel about 7:30am and depart to Ha Long Bay by road through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields (harvest time: 5th month and 10th month of Lunar New Year), water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life on both side of the highway No.18.

12.15 pm: Arrive in Ha Long city, board our traditional wooden junk boat, for an overnight journey. Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin your cruise through to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay.. Feast on a delicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery.

7.30pm: Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board.

9.00pm: Squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partner, friends, family.

Overnight on Ha Long Bay aboard of Junk.

7:00am: For early riser complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served.

8.00 am: Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc.

9.00 am: Arrange your luggage and do the check out on board.

9.30 am: Enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations.

11.30 am: Arrive back at Hon Gai habour and get the bus to Hanoi.

You will be transferred to Hanoi Airport then for your next flight.

End of tour and welcome back!
